Most hats on the market today fit people with head sizes ranging from 6 3/4 through 7 5/8. We carry a large
variety of BIG HATS that fit hat sizes from 7 ½ up through 9 ¼. All our hats contain more cloth and are made
from a larger die patterns than normally sized hats. They’re bigger around and are deeper (higher crowned)
than normal hats. They’re extremely comfortable and look great!

Shortcut method to
determine if our BIG HATS will fit you:

Measure the circumference of your head (The distance around your head where the brim of the hat will touch your head). |

If the circumference of your head is between 23 3/8 inches and 29 1/8 inches (60 to 74 centimeters), then one of our hats will comfortably fit you. Just checkout the chart below and then shop here at our website online: |
Actual mathematical method to calculate hat size and determine if our BIG HATS will fit you:
If you’re the mathematician type who would like to understand how hat sizes are actually calculated and whether our BIG HATS will fit you, please review the following instructions:

Measure the circumference of your head in inches (The distance around your head where the brim of the hat will touch your head). |

Divide the circumference by 3.14, the result is your hat size. Convert the decimal to a fraction. Round the fraction to the nearest 1/8th. |

If your hat size falls on or between 7 1/2 to 9 1/4, you will find a hat at our store that will comfortably fit you. Hat sizes are included in the description next to each hat listed in our online catalog.
